These limited-edition teddy bears were distributed to celebrities at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino presentation of the Head to Hollywood Celebrity Poker Charity Tournament hosted by Carmen Electra. These bears were personally selected by Hollywood Connection due to their high quality and personalized nature.

Andre Dumont, ElizaBears' Director of Public Relations, said the company was invited to contribute a number of personalized teddy bears as featured items to be included in celebrity gift bags handed out to stars at the event.
The invitation to participate in the event came from Nancee Borgnine, Vice President of Hollywood Connection, the California-based company in charge of official celebrity gift bags for the event. Nancee, daughter of famous actor Ernest Borgnine, discovered the ElizaBears Teddy Bears website online, and, as an avid Teddy Bear collector, ordered one of the bears as a birthday gift for her father.
